Ops Engineering LLC

Ops Engineering is a professional Engineering and Land Surveying subsidiary of Ops Plus, Inc.  Founded over 10 years ago through the acquisition of an existing firm, this expansion strengthened our support and offerings in the utility services environment.  Our primary utility expertise is in electric, telecommunications, fiber optics and natural gas as we service a large customer base.  Customers range throughout municipalities, commercial and industrial companies, developers, architects and even other engineering firms.

Civil Engineering

Our engineering staff has a wide range of design experience in utilities, telecommunications, civil, and structural work.  We also provide services in permitting for local, state, and federal utility projections in the areas of traffic control, right-of-way encroachment and environmental impact.  We are licensed in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio and our team is led by our Engineering Manager, Eric Gearheart, P.E.  Areas of experience and expertise:

  • Relocation of utilities for highway/road move projects
  • Utility upgrades and maintenance
  • Design for new facilities for utilities
  • Planning and zoning applications
  • Permit plans and applications for railroad and highway crossings

Land Surveying

The Ops Engineering survey team offers surveying services for both private and public sector clients.  Our Survey Manager has over 20 years of experience while certifying over 3,000 jobs, providing us with the ability to provide a wide variety of professional services while utilizing state of the art technology to better serve our clients.  Our client base consists of utility companies, private developers and homeowners, public agencies, construction companies as well as government agencies throughout the state.  We pride ourselves on timely responses to quote request.  Some services we offer:
